Easy Installation

  • Installation is simple requiring a portable drill/screwdriver unit.
  • The worker descends the façade and, at the selected installation locations, pauses, and using the  hardware provided, secures a building anchor to the curtain wall, window, masonry, etc. After the building anchor is  installed, a stabilization slide is deployed providing stabilization for the worker to install the next lower anchor.
  • Anchors should not require special inspections other then the worker’s observing them during their routine use.

Another feature of the RDS
3  System is its use in complying with other Code and Standard Requirements

Requirements to stabilize fall arrest lines are now easy to comply with.  At an anchor point, secure your “lifeline” to either an anchor slide or to the suspension rope just above an anchor slide with a Velcro Tie.  The fall arrest line is now secured and still functions as an independent lifeline.  Lifeline Tie-offs should not exceed 200 feet apart.
